A little about us

Welcome to Caerlaverock Cottages, a portfolio of five high standard, tranquil holiday cottages in South West Scotland. Situated on the picturesque Solway Coast, we are a family-run company offering a home away from home within a stones-throw of Scotland’s only WWT location at Caerlaverock.

With properties in Bankend, Caerlaverock and Glencaple, Caerlaverock Cottages are perfectly located for a holiday in Dumfries and Galloway. Often referred to as Scotland’s hidden gem, there is plenty on offer. From birdwatching to mountain biking, art galleries to golf, there’s something for everyone.

Bankswood is a traditional, detached cottage with its own private lawned garden. Situated in an elevated position, the cottage looks out towards Caerlaverock Wildlife and Wetlands Trust.

Located on the Nith Estuary, Gullsway has some beautiful views out towards Caelaverock Wildlife and Wetlands Trust with plenty of bird watching opportunities.
